Best Books Lists

The original list I made (in like 2008) of BEST BOOKS IN THE WORLD includes several genres and is like 2000 books long. Since then, I have made many more specific lists of best books (like BEST GRAPHIC NOVELS or BEST SCI-FI BOOKS), looping in more contemporary lit. Links to those more specific, best books lists is here, as well as the original behemoth of a list, which I no longer use as my TBR or add to, but am curious to see what of it I eventually read as the decades pass.

(The Best Movies and Shows list can be found HERE.)

3 thoughts on “Best Books Lists

  1. I compiled my list in a similar fashion, just not nearly so ambitious. I found plenty of 100 best lists, but found something to dislike in all of them, so I finally decided to make one composite from six lists. It’s a list I’m pretty pleased with, and I’m definitely enjoying the quest. I’ll check back here and compare notes where we overlap. Cheers.
